The app needed to track various metrics (speed, altitude, distance) while providing social features for sharing location with friends and family.
Our Solution
We developed a native iOS app using Swift that integrates resort maps, lift schedules, and trail information. The app tracks speed, altitude, and distance in real-time using GPS and motion sensors. We implemented a real-time location sharing system using Node.js, TypeScript, Redis, and Elasticsearch for efficient data processing and search capabilities. The backend architecture ensures reliable tracking and fast location updates for social features.
